2020 : Alaska Jundokan Seminar and Celebration, 50th Anniversary for Sensei Yurio Nakada. Okinawa Jundokan seminar Thursday and Friday (July 30 & 31). Friendship workout on Saturday Aug. 1, and small friendship tournament Aug. 2nd. More details to come.

Sensei Mary and Sensei Mike participated in the Pacific Coast Karate Championships in Camarillo, California in early June. Sensei Mike took a first-place trophy in kumite. Seinsei Mary took a first place in both kumite and kata! Congratulations to both instructors.

Five instructors from our Alaska Jundokan dojo are training and exploring in Okinawa. Our trip began three days ago. As always, the hospitality and warm welcomes made the long flights and hectic travel schedules easy to endure. We are accompanied on this trip by Sensei Marlon Moore from Puerto Penasco, Sonara.
